How these services fit together.
Can I just get cameras?
Yes. Plenty of customers start with two or three cameras and self-monitor from the app — that's the $20/mo plan. You can add alarms, smart home, or pro monitoring later without replacing what you already own.
Do I need pro monitoring?
Not required. Self-monitoring works if you're around your phone and don't mind handling alerts yourself. Pro monitoring (from $40/mo) makes sense for cabins, second homes, businesses, or anyone who wants a dispatch center calling police or fire when an alarm trips.
Can I add smart home features later?
Yes. Smart locks, lights, and thermostats are add-ons that plug into the same app as your cameras and alarms. Start with security, layer on convenience whenever you're ready — no second install fee for the platform itself.
Do you sell hardware only?
We sell hardware paired with install — that's the part that keeps the system reliable. If you want gear only, we'll quote it, but we don't recommend skipping a pro install on alarm sensors or wired cameras.
What if I already have an old system?
We can usually take over monitoring on existing alarm panels and add modern cameras alongside them. We'll inspect what you have during the free quote and tell you what's worth keeping and what's worth replacing.
